I had the cat for over six months now and I love all of its sounds. It has a set of Alembics on it and it rocks the house. I will never like the push buttons as much as I like knobs, but that is a personal preference. It gets more playtime than the Music Man Sting Ray shorty.

I ordered in mid November, black with parchment pick guard. Just wondering how much longer for shipping those out.

Great point on the length. The cat is 30.7 scale so it is almost the same as the Alembic. I have not experienced problems due to it, but if your tuners are skinny pegs this may be a concern. They are compression wound so they feel really stiff on the fingers. Seem to last a very long time...

I got my EHB1000S and it is a good instrument. Only thing I am not liking is the Bartollini BH2 pickups so a set of Aguilar SuperSplits went in. Sound fantastic.
