    Round Core Bass Strings

    Ive been experimenting with different kinds of SS strings lately, and run into High Beams. These things feel great, and I understand the great feel comes from the round core vs. hex. Does anybody know any other strings that are SS with round core that I can try. FYI I us 40-95 Thanks

    Refinishing P Bass

    I have an American P bass that is black, and I will be taking everything off to be painted. My question is, do i need to loosen truss rod, or will the neck be OK until its ready to put back together. By the way, Im thinking a cool looking blue with a white peraloid pick guard.     :eyebrow:Was wondering if anyone has looked at the 75 jazz basses MIJ for sale on E-Bay. I cant find them on Fenders website so I think they could be Fake Fenders. Too bad I love the blue one. What do you think.
