hey guys, just wondering how, if any of you, would go about getting an extremly bright tone? my amp is ss and not very good, but apart from strings, i really can't get it to be as bright as i'd like... think john entwistle with a bit of geddy for flavor... any ideas?

so... anyone use one? how do they sound, and how easy were they to dial in to *your* sound. i only ask because i've been looking at them and haven't found one around here to play through. i figure if musicians friend is selling them for like 600, that's not to bad for 500 watt amp thanks...
