Hey, I was wondering if anyone would know what kinda metal the stingray bridge mutes are made out of. I plan to make some my own for my P bass for the ol' foam under the bridge trick. I really like the idea of the stingray mutes (ie the new classic series or any of the older stingray models)...

I've got a MB200, one of the new ones with only speakon connectors and i'm curious is it safe to make a speakon to 1/4 adapter and if so, what should i look out for. Also, if i'm daisy chaining two cabs together that are 8 ohms, my load is 4 ohms correct?

So I am planning to go out and buy a MB200 and a MBX210 and I'm quite curious in what other people have heard about them. I cant find ANY information it seems on the MBX 210 cab which seems really promising.

Ive been playing stand up bass for about a year in my jazz ensemble but finally this summer im getting my own, one of the techiqnues i definatily want to learn is thumb position but i dont understand it at all... i try to do what i see other people doing but it just feels painful on my thumb...

So i have a rumble 75 combo amp (off the new line) and i was wondering if i bought a GK 2x10 cab, would i be able to use the line out on the combo amp to power the GK cab, or would i need to buy another head, or could i use my boss me20b to power it...

So i have a jay turser electric acoustic bass, it was a gift, it sounds fine unplugged but when i plug it in only the E A D strings get amplified, the G string has abit of a thumping noise but no note from the amp comes t hruogh D: any suggestions D:
