    Time to change strings, need help

    I want to restring my highway one jazz with some lighter gauge strings than the factory ones, I think it would make it easier to strum ala Claypool style. Any recommendations on what to get?

    I like the sound of the bass in this song and cant reproduce it. I tried some different effects in Amplitube but am a newb at these things.

    Crack in wood or paint?

    This is my squier VM P-bass, I noticed this crack in the paint tonight. I have never seen a paint crack, do you think it is in the paint or the wood also? Is it anything to worry about? I bought this about two weeks ago.
