Hi, could someone please help me, i searched but couldnt find what i need. I have 2 split coil jazz pups, i want to have a separate tone and volume for each. Is this possible, and could someone maybe post a diagram of how to wire it?

where would you guys say the sweet spots are for a jazz pup in the bridge position and a P in the neck position? theres about 9" between the bridge and the end of the fingerboard, if thats relevant.
