I have a Traynor db800. It sounds best with the gain at full or almost full. Is it safe. been having a hard time getting a great sound out of the head until I started cranking the gain.

does anyone know if there is a quick fix for a buzz in 1 speaker of my ampeg 810.seems to be coming from the top left edge of the speaker. If i apply slight pressure to the speaker surround the buzz stops ..anyideas? all screws are tight cone looks great as well
