I have now experienced the tapewound style of strings for the first time. Bought Fender 9120 and put them on my Jazz. No fingernoise but a class brighter than flats. Great for blues, classic rock for example.

The original pickguard was white on this JB. The new black one looks much nicer to my eyes. The holes dont match 100 % and also not an access to the truss rod. But, that can modified with drills.
