My new beater bass project platform! 2012 Made in China Jazz V. Gave it a good cleaning and after a lengthy set up (neck relief was waaaay out) it plays and sounds great!! Less than $200 locally.

So I just unpacked a Yamaha BB435 that I bought here on the classifieds. Plays great and sounds really good. My issue is that the electronics completely drop out. It seems like it's the P volume pot ( passive, vol/vol/tone) but I completely loose everything and then fiddling with the P pot seems...

I'm far from an expert on Ric's and it looks interesting. Could be a boat anchor. I'm going to try to put eyeballs on it this afternoon. Hard to see in the pics but the ad says it has a bound neck and body. Thoughts? These are the only pics available.

This was just posted for sale locally and then the ad was removed after 5 minutes. I'm not a Fender expert but it was listed as a Precision??? If you could only have 2 basses...

I've been a Lurker here for quite a while. I'm barely a Novice and just getting back into playing again after many years. This is an amazing site with a ton of knowledgeable members. I wish the internet was around back when I started. I probably would have kept playing. This just arrived today...
