    Does your favourite band also include your favourite bass player?

    In 1977, my favorite bands were Yes, Rush, and Steely Dan. The connection seems obvious now but I wasn’t consciously thinking about it at the time. The ensembles were pretty good, too - not to mention their rhythm section partners!
