Recently the nut on my bass was broken and I need it replaced. Besides a nearby guitar center are there any places nearby Atlanta that people could recommend?
Where can you access the bass lessons? All i can manage is to get to the site that shows what is there, but no actual lessons. They should be unlocked for me as well.
selling it is much easier logistically. With renting you have to figure out what happens if its damaged, lost, broken, etc....selling would also get you the full moneys worth in one payment.
Mb500 + Neo 212 is pretty good combo, weighs at about 45 pounds, has handles and you can install casters. I think its 380 watts at 8 and 500 watts at 4 ohms (something like that) bought both of the things used for about 700$. Haven't gigged it yet, but boy is it loud.
Recently i've been moving into trying to be able to hear guitar chords and bass notes, but it seems like i'm not making much progress at all. I can tell the difference between 2 notes, but i couldn't tell you which one is an A or B or C etc...any advice on this? (I'll still be practicing more...
Alright so it seems MbX < MBE < Neo, or something like that? Also I've been looking for a goo 1x15 at GC used and ive seen this: Invalid Link Removed
and this:
Invalid Link Removed
The first one has a different brand thing on top, its a straight line instead of the oval, and the second looks...
Thanks :), also are they different quality? in the used sections im looking at the neos are a bit more expensive, Im going to be using a mb500 head, so would the neo work out better?
Figure this is a good place to ask: Whats are some differences between the MBE and Neo series for GK? Also is the MBX any different? all these different names make it confusing to try and buy the right cab :p
So i recently purchased a GK mb500 amp, and im trying to decide a cab to match it (portability is important), im thinking about the 1x12 or a 1x15, are there any big differences between the two besides about 7 pounds and obviously the driver size?
Usually play with 1 or 2 guitars, and vocalist. gig sizes vary. my budget is flexible as long as the deal is good, I'll most likely be getting used everything so that helps. Play mostly rock, and some blues stuff
And i still cant deceide between the combo or seperate cab/head...the combo 1x15...
Ive been looking into buying a new rig, most likely GK. would you guys reccomend the combos 1x15 or 2x12, or buying cabs, and head sperately? The big difference ive seen is obviously price and the combos have less power than seperate head/cab (assuming head is trong enough). Any opinions?
Why am i always half a day late on the good amp deals at the GC used website! if you are the one snatching these deals up on used GK combo amps, step forth and show yourself!
Would a truss rod adjustment be needed if i recently switched to a lighter string gauge? switched from 45-65-85-105 to 45-65-80-100. I don't think i see any bend in the fretboard, but i dont have the best eyes for that kind of stuff.
