There is clearly visible shielding paint, in the BB435 cavity photo. Oops, forgot to post my BB235 cavity photo after the mods. Also the ”before” pic, from a few years back.

This seems to be the one exception to the legendary Yamaha quality control. The wiring is, well, not the best I’ve seen, neither are the pots. At least your 435 has shielding paint in the cavity, which is good. My BB235 had no shielding (and was quite noisy before I shielded it with the copper...
