Oh, just a quick extra question. Occasionally when playing I get a metallic "pop" when the E string touches the pickup pole. Is something wrong and will new pickups solve that problem? Thanks.

Hi folks Can I please have recommendations for a passive medium scale bass with slim neck and relatively light weight. Ibanez Mezzo's are ideal body wise but active (and sound quite bright). Thanks Dave
