    I came across this bass in a pawn shop: Fender MIM Jazz neck, but the body looks like a P bass with the pickguard removed and smaller custom covers installed, and a non-standard pickup - definitely not routed for a 2 pickup Jazz configuration. Who can shine some light? Is this a Franken-Fender?
