Furthermore, everyone who had a "the neck gap is so and so" comment in this thread should actually leave their parents' house and audition for a gig, or play -or just talk to someone- someplace where there is no internet.
Here's a thread about neck walk on one of the most cutting-est edge manufacturers of bolt-on instruments today (and no disrespect to them at all). I guarantee this company has state of the art equipment, and by now has come up with incredible process control. And the neck *still* moves around in the pocket, regardless of how many phone books you can fit in the neck gap or not.
