This guy. Mine is in much worse shape than the one in the picture. Only downside is that it’s 9 volt battery only.
I also use a 3Leaf Proton, but greatly prefer the MXR.

Have you checked out the Analogman clone of the MXR? It looks interesting to me but I haven't seen it discussed much for bass.View attachment 4440516

I think the Mooer Envelope Filter is supposed to be a copy of this.I’ve always wants to try that one.
I just got a Fwonkbeta which is a beast I'm figuring out how to tame/QUOTE]
Running a compressor immediately after the Fwonk did the trick for me, fwiw.
Yeah I planned on using a comp after once I get the board rewired.
Moog mf-101. I've had the MXR, several different 3Leaf Protons, a Wonderlove, Chromatron, Mu-tron iii, several DOD filters, source audio stuff, etc. Sold them all because nothing sounded as good as the Moog.
Damn. I think I paid $250 for mine but honestly? I'd consider spending $1000 to not have to buy another envelope filter again lol. Not that I have that money but I was a heavy GAS addict before getting it and haven't felt the need to buy anything else since, and that feels amazing.Jeez that thing is $1000
Do you use the C4 and spectrum simultaneously?
