1 Spot Question

Read all the threads on the 1 spot but have a question -

I don't understand the "C35" Adapter for the EHX pedals. I am running a 1 spot combo pack with two boss pedals, the MXR BOD, and two EHX pedals (bass big muff and bassballs). I didn't use any of the adapters as none of them fit into my pedals - the C35 adapter didn't seem to fit in, but i guess i'm not sure if i'm doing it right. Everything seems to work fine, but am I risking damaging some of the pedals? New at effects - thanks so much for any help!

The C35 adapter isn't for EHX pedals. It's for ANY pedals that take a 1/8" input. If there are any EHX pedals that take a 1/8" input (I can't think of any), then and only then would you use it with them. Both the BBM and the Bassballs take a standard Boss-style center negative adapter- you don't need a special adapter for either of them.

Thanks so much for the info! Yes I was confused since the 1 spot manual says that EHX bassballs and bigmuff need the C35 adapter!

is this the adapter you are referencing? IIRC that is for older EH pedals.

i think older EHX (like from the 80's and back) used the 1/8" power. I have an old Morley that does too.

Older bassballs needs this adaptor. The Big black ones.

Electro Harmonix has used MANY different adapter types over the years, to the point of driving people crazy, so I don't doubt that there are ones with 1/8" inputs at all. The two you have don't have them though, so you're fine.

The BBM uses a normal barrel adapter, the C35 is not necessary. However, the larger older sheet metal Big Muff does need the C35 adapter.
