10" Speakers

I have a couple of Carvin 2X10 bass cabinets that I like and need to replace the speakers. Any advice on which speakers to buy?

That all depends. Are they older Eminence drivers or the newer Chinese drivers. I can assure you there is a difference.

Why not just call Carvin and ask what drivers go into your cabinets?

Carvin will sell him their current replacements. They are Chinese sourced, they are $70 a piece after shipping and I assure you they are inferior to the Eminence drivers that came in his cabinet as OEM.

FLoyd is all over it. I had an older 2-10 and it sounded AMAZING. That little sucker could kick! I would either buy his or find the equivalent newer speaker rather than getting the newer Carvin replacement.
