1000 to blow on amp! this will be fun...

hello again.

i am in a band that is just starting to get off the ground and outta the basement. and i was wondering i have a ampeg ba115 now. i love that for smaller venues. but i need a bigger halfstack. i love mid range tones with a little bit more trebbly but able to hit lows when i need to. id ilike to stick with a ampeg tone. is there anything around a thousand i could start looking at?

Look around. I scored my Traynor YBA-200 for a little over $600 new through some bartering, and got a used Ampeg 410HLF for $350 in a semi-local deal. That's about $1000 for an all tube rig that sounds massive. You could do similarly looking used (used YBA-200s pop up every now and again for under $600, new you could barter for under $700 on the new models), and go used on a cabinet, or take the above advice and go new with Avatar.
