Very cool updates! I love my Ibby SR506! I'm getting a new OBP-3 preamp in it and its gonna be sweet . I've played other SR506s and the only one that I have "loved" instantly is the one that I own. The others at the shop weren't set up right and had a lot of fret buzz. For some reason mine has none. I really think that this bass is especially sensitive to set-up anomalies....hmmm just my .02.

I only had my SR506 as a rental for a few months. I really liked it and would like to get another someday.

That said, I just put in an order for Schecter Stiletto Studio 6-string. It will be interesting to compare it against the Ibanez.
