Im curious how you view Flat 2 diminished passing cords and why they work?

( I ask this because this is akin to another common explination for the shrp four diminished)

With the slash cord or no we can leave as "a Matter of opinion" but since we are bass player and that is something that would possibly show a bass player(are any intrument) how to view and work with that harmony I think my explination is better. Besides it has basis in sound harmonic analisis.

But Ill be the first to say that saying because our ear fills in the gaps. Is pretty sound.

Let's just agree to disagree.I have some extra time right now and am truly trying to help some beginning musicians.I'm not looking for"credit"Passing on some amazing education and experience I have been fortunate enough to recieve.Some of your analysis is indeed correct,and insightful,and some of it, pertaining to jazz especially, is incorrect.Some of your writing is very hard to decipher,so maybe I am "misinterpreting".

Look Im sorry if I offended you I know this is a fresh conversation that I walked into it with residuals from the other day.

I was just trying to say a basic feeling that I resieve when debateing with you.If you feel Im being childish or overly sensitive then please patronize me and treat me like I have a clue. If you feel Im a grown man who has a clue a should be treated with respect and who tries hard to treat you with respect then treat me as such.

Im am curious how the analisis is incorect pertaining to jazz? If it is Id love to learn.

Some of your writing is very hard to decipher,so maybe I am "misinterpreting".

For this I am sorry and very aware of how bad I am see I never went to high school ( I was out doing gigs) Ive actually learned more about typing and spelling chating in this chatgroup than anywhere else in my life. I wish this thing had a spell check

My skills weaken considerably when the diatribes get longer.

I was meaning a common trick in say I/VI/II/V is to reharm by using I/bIIdim/II/V or in case where that turnaround is leading back to another (ie Rhythm) I/bIIdim/II/bIIIdim/III(I)/VI/II/V.
