I purchased a Fender American Standard body from an authorized dealer, it's a beautiful cherryburst over 2-piece ash. Did Fender ever make a USA ash/cherryburst bass? I've seen it in the deluxes but never in the standards.

If I weren't facing an impending "Gear Purge", I would've pursued it more vigorously. Like, I was literally watching the clock run down on it, resisting the urge to bid-bid-bid. I'm glad it went to a fellow TB'er, though.

I think that means "August the fifth" because there's a four-digit number following it starting with "2".
