sounds like a BLX 130 (with tweeter)? I found one in a pawn shop once and would have bought it but they wouldn't come down on the price. Great sounding little combo but heavy as 2 car batteries! I think its 130watts @ 4ohm, so, if you don't have an ext cab, its really only pushing the enclosed speaker@ abt 75 to 100w.
So now I'm confused. The amp is 130w RMS, and 260w peak. Is it then the case that it's 130w at 8 ohms (without an extension speaker), and up to 260w at 4 ohms (with an extension cab)?
As a side note, I found out the speaker is apparently a kevlar coated 150w 8ohm Celestion.
Peak rating is the absolute most a speaker can take but only for like .sod-all of a second, RMS is the rating that's usually about half that. the GP7SM etc part of the name probably refers to the preamp and the 130 obviously cos it's 130 watts, the amp setup will probably be sued in more then one combo.
You can definitely slide the amp part out though, did it myself once when I though I'd buggered it after borrowing my mates for practise, turned out it was just a blown fuse after all that arseing about and didn't even need to take the thing out. You need to unscrew the top handle to get it out, alot of amps keep the board and that in place with long screws used on the handles which assumably has the mutual benefit of making the handle more solid which is probably why they do it.
