If memory serves, the QSC power amps have an adjustable frequency filter, which lets you prevent your power amp from producing frequences lower than 50hz, 30hz, or run un-filtered.

There is 1 filter per channel, so you could run the 50hz filter on the channel running to your 2x10... and then either 30hz, or unfiltered to your 2x12.

Nope, I meant what I said. :)

You hook the capacitors in series, back to back (so the two negative terminals are connected together). This will give you half the capacitance of each individual capacitor (because they're connected in series). So for instance two 2500 uF caps in series will equate to a single 1250 uF cap.

"IF" your caps are perfectly matched, the series configuration will handle twice the voltage rating of each capacitor alone. I wouldn't make assumptions in that regard though, because in real life caps are "never" perfectly matched. I'd play it safe and just use the voltage rating of a single cap, that way you're covered.

It is not true that capacitors in parallel will double the voltage rating. That only applies to capacitors in series, and "only" if they're perfectly matched. There's a way to account for mismatched capacitors, by putting a resistor in parallel with each cap (for an example of this, check the power supply of the silverface Fender Twin Reverb amp, which you can find on schematicheaven.com). However the resistor has to have the right value, and this method may or may not work in the context of a crossover (where both the voltage and the current tend to fluctuate wildly over time). To be perfectly safe, just limit the applied voltage to the maximum rating of "one" of the series caps.

Your memory serves correct, or at least it does for my RMX series amp.

This is how I run my setup when using 2 cabs, channel 1 with the 50Hz filter for my 4x10 and channel 2 with the 30Hz filter for the 1x15. Fenderblues - this is not the same as a crossover but will accomplish what you want it to if you're worried about damaging a cab from too many lows. Again, I'd just look at what the frequency response of your cabs are and act accordingly.

Caps in series increases their voltage capacity; in parallel the voltage capacity stays the same as the lesser voltage capacity of the two caps. This is probably not an issue here, but some older tube amps did run caps in series to handle the higher voltage.

The capacitance does indeed double for two of the same caps in parallel.

With the Behringer, It's only going to get a max of 150 watts! The cab can handle 700 watts. Unless you're planning to turn your volume up to '11', you ain't got a thing to worry about. I have one and I use mine in conjunction with an Avatar B115. My amp is 500 watts. At the most, that cab would get max 250 watts. Mine has never farted once!! You don't need to get a crossover!
