Hmm - Chris' page worked last time I checked, but I get the same error message that you do when I try to access the page now.

Chris Celinder has been equally infamous for his inability to run a business as he has been famous for his instruments - a shame, really. I rememer a few years ago, his website simply stated that it would be up again "in August", which turned out to be almost accurate - just an August later than I expected ! And then it came back with a nice design and info on how the backlog of orders would be cleared in 2009 - and now there's just that error message.

I can't be of much more help, but I know for a fact that Celinder basses is the most popular Danish bass brand here on TB :) Just search for the owners club and you'll find plenty of members.
Strangely, Mørch is not as popular, in spite of being in the business for a longer time and having built instruments for tons of professional musicians.
Egholm is another Danish luthier, which could also be added to your list - Link Removed

Seems to be the way of many creative people - doing the paperwork is not so much fun and time is spent elsewhere.

While websites are nice, she's not requiring them - a picture will work just as well if you've got one.

Chris Celinder has an extremely long backlog of instruments that he is getting through and so has not been accepting orders for the last 3 years. I hear that some instruments are trickling out the workshop though.

Chris Celinder, founder of Celinder guitars, started business in 1987 as the Basslab, which is not to be confused with the Basslab in Germany. He worked with electronics wizard Henrik Thomsen until 1990 when he went on his own and started Celinder basses. They relocated within the city of Copenhagen in 1992 when space ran out, and this is where instruments are currently produced. Celinder basses are based off of the popular American Fender design of the Jazz and Precision basses. Celinder takes the original design of Leo Fender and incorporates modern-day knowledge to produce some of the finest bass guitars on the market. This is interesting. After reading this I was reminded of "The Wayback Machine" (It's a website that archives old copies of other websites.) So I tried Celinder there and got, "We're sorry, access to http://www.celinder.com/ has been blocked by the site owner via robots.txt. " It's like Mr. Celinder is hiding his old pages.
