Part II of Pending List (may or may not be on main list already).
...History, Dragon, STD...
Ambush basses.
Riverhead
Fury, from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Fury is now known for making Dingwall pickups, but their guitars and basses are excellent instruments in their own right.
Klira, Domino, and Wurlitzer
Also J&D Luthiers, one of the more popular brands in Australia.
Gagliano -- cheap solidbody double-pickup, 30" version of the same bass made by Hofner but at a cheaper price. Had the same electronics and PUPs at the Beatle bass but with a 4-in-line headstock and a Fender-like bridge. My second bass in 1966 and it sounded fine.
Suzuki (Japan)
Austin
Gecko
Pensa
Line 6
Weta and Ashton. Ahston from Australia and Weta from NZ, right down the road from me in fact

Antoria. Although I haven't searched all the links to see if they list it.
At some time they were produced in Japan in the Fuji Gengakki factory that was involved in some lawsuit with I think it was Gibson, not sure on that so don't quote me.

Just discovered this brand today: Lero
[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
Thought it was interesting that the store in Lilburn, GA appeared to have two Lero's. Either that or they reposted the same one with new pics - but it does have a different SKU number. Also, they posted another bass with no brand name that looks similar to the Leros. It has a Tele bass shape rather than a Tele guitar shape.
Just thought of another one: J.Rhyne
Jay was a luthier in the Atlanta area and was legend in the '70s. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a picture of his basses, but here is one of his guitar creations:
Jay was a bass player himself and he liked the deep, simple sound like EBOs so his basses tended to sound somewhat similar. They were called Lima Beans cause that's the shape they had - not very attractive, just an odd oval shape.
This is pretty cool. I don't see a negative point the the fact that it has been done before, plus I notice you are checking links to be sure they ate active and the links valid.
Not sure if he is here somewhere, is be surprised if someone didn't mention him, I looked over the whole thread, didn't see so I figured I would post the link to one of my favorite bass porn.

As for Aria Pro II, the research I have done tells me that APII was a separate company that was developed by Aria Custom Shop in '75 to create a high-end line, given different logos, and built in a different factory, different design team altogether.
I know, grey area again, and same head office....I'm cool with seeing just Aria there....but believe the 2 were kept very separate...so maybe do us APII players this one solid? (wink/smile) - haha
Don't forget El Degas...my 1st was one...total piece of........
I wish they'd take just one normal picture to go with all the artsy ones. These are dizzying - and here's another photo of what the bass looks like if you stand on your head and look at it from the back side of the lower cut-away.
If you build a piece of art, just let it speak for itself. :^)
I didn't see Vantage. Blindness or lack of alphabet sequence knowledge kicked in or something. I had one in the early 80s or late 70s, and it was an awful neck diver.
There are actually two new versions of Acoustic. One is a Guitar Center brand made in China and the other is an update of the original, defunct company from California.
Here's a picture of a Hondo from the internet:

Here's a link to a little bit of information about Acoustic Black Widow basses. I don't think they made more than a handful, since they were really an amplifier company.
