Well, you do have an acousticy side to you (see Godin basses for details).
And yes, I just made that word up. Acousticy. I like it.![]()
I just talked to John K. who makes those incredible basses in the Luthier's section. Apparently he knows the guy who built the Godin instruments (among others like Martins). He said that guy built a huge building out in the middle of a forest to do his work. They would go cut trees and mill them themselves. He cut so much wood that he had a group of guys hired just to sharpen the saw blades. Apparently, a very highly respected builder.
