150w 1x10 cab for 120w head?

So i have 120w old bass amp, and i'm thinking of buying Celestion BL10-150 speaker and putting in into old 1x10 cabinet. How do you guys think, would this speaker be enough for me?

I have a 100W 1x10 amp. It's fine for practice at home, but useless onstage. I think you'll need more speakers than just a single 10. That's been my experience anyway.

And what about celestion 150w 15" speaker? It goes for almost the same price.

I can't find any specs for this driver at Celestion, other than a 75Hz Fs, which means it's not suitable for electric bass.

These are what you consider when replacing a driver, not inches and watts.

As for a 75Hz Fs, that's typical of a guitar driver.

The Fs is OK, but at the very least Vas, Qes, Qms and xmax are required to know what the driver capabilities are.

Dropping a new driver into an old cabinet is always a crapshoot unless you've done the science first.

A single ten will be suitable for bedroom practice and nothing more.
