1959 Roth Bass - $4000

I am selling my 1959 Ernit Heinrich Roth Bass. It is in good condition for its age and has no major repairs or damage to the neck or body (other than the new board). It has a new ebony board, French bridge and endpin. It comes with a Realist Pickup and a worn Gollihur Green Bass bag.

This bass is a hybrid. It has a nice deep growling sound. The new board is quite thick and added a lot of growl and sustain. It also makes the neck thick but it doesn't bother me any. I am selling it because I bought a fully carved. The sides and back were factory etched to give it a "flamed" look.

I am in the San Jose California area. Local PU only.

More pics available upon request.

Hi.
The Classifieds rules on the DB side are different than on the BG side.
On this side, bumping is only allowed if you actually change something in the selling conditions, like price, shipping, etc.
I had deleted your previous bump a week ago.

Thanks in advance, and good luck in your sale.

Best regards,
François

Wow ... Wishing I lived closer by. Someone should buy up this nice hybrid bass :) . I play in a regular (low-brow bluegrass) jam session with a gal that has a '60 Roth plywood without the purty finish .... and ..... it is a very fine sounding bass. I'll bet this hybrid sounds Way Better :p ! Of course I am partial to chezzeey artificial flame finishes ;) .
