I think he does a good job playing bass lines. He just needs to shut up because classic instruments sell themselves.

To be fair, he always gives a disclaimer that he’s not a bass player. That is a super specimen. You can smell the mojo through the internet drool

Anytime he does a Thumpin Thursday video the bass seems to sell in a day or two. And the Stack Knob isn't on their site, so surely is long gone.

While he's a killer player, thats what I'm always reminded a Jazz should sound like. I can never keep flats on one.

Honestly, the Squier Jazz Deluxe V is the only current model like that I know of. The only production wide spaced Fender I ever remember was the Roscoe Beck V. It was a great sounding bass with a really big body.

Dr. C, now you've got me looking at J style instruments, Lakland J.O., Lakland D.J., Fenders, Sadowsky, etc. It's all your fault!! My fretted 5 is a dream bass by my standards, but there is just something about the J bass vibe!!
