I'm too sure on the year but its an older model. The bass had a broken headstock at one point in its lifetime but it was repaired and it seems like a good repair to me. I never felt a problem with it. Sounds good and plays good.

Comes with original hardshell case. It is a pretty beat up case. Guessing it has seen lots road miles.

Asking $600 + shipping OBO
No trades at the moment.

Damn! If I didn't have one already, I'd be all over this.
It looks like on of the earlier models. Horns are fat an chunky. The later ones had slimmer horns I think. My guess is that it could be a 74'. Body is Maple or Alder?

Chunky horns and direct-mount pickups rather than the later 3-point english mount style. Definitely earlier, before '77 at least. The larger body came about in '75, the later basses are the same shape / size as Grabbers. It's SUPER hard to find cases to fit the early Rippers.
