1970's Fretless Memphis Bridge Replacement

Hello!


I just purchased a 1970's Memphis Bass has been converted to a fretless instrument and had its bridge removed. I am trying to figure out what bridge to buy for it and am not sure what direction to take. It used to have a Leo Quan Badass II. Any suggestions on how to tackle this?

That's a nice bass. It deserves a nice bridge like a Hipshot or a Schaller.

I'm trying to figure out what makes those $70 - $100 bridges worth more than a $20 - $30 one. Any advice on that?

They look good. The badass is ugly but the Schaller and Hipshot are really nice lookin.

They also have string spacing adjustability to align the strings nicely over the poles.

A Fender vintage type with threaded saddles would be great too; string space adjustable and old time looks: not pretty, not big, just all business.

When I see a bass without a pg, I like to see a nice chunk of bridge on it; to fill it out. That's just me though, your opinion/taste is what counts.

No the 5 hole like a classic Fender bridge.
