1973 - MD1582 - Burgundyglo Rickenbacker 4001

Although it's now approaching 10 years since my April 1973 Burgundyglo 4001 was stolen I still have hopes of one day having it back. Here are photos taken of it just before it went missing (there has been very minor photo editing to the images, I do have the raw untouched photos). If you happen upon it, I would really appreciate it if you would please let me know.

Did you note the serial number of the bass before it was stolen? If so, it may help to post it in case someone here stumbles across a BurgundyGlo Ricky in their travels. I've seen several bassists with them over the years, and it's not like I'm going to walk up to someone and ask "Hey, nice bass! Is it stolen?"

It also lets us TBer's potentially ID the bass if it pops up on CL or ebay or whatnot.

Sorry you lost the bass. It certainly is a beautiful instrument. I'd be really upset too if it were stolen from me.
