1976 Fender PBass Value?

Hi,

Looking at a '76 Fender PBass. It's black, all original and OHSC (w/broken handle).

What's a fair price to pay for such an instrument.

I have a '76 P Bass, and from what I've seen so far, they typically go from anywhere between $1200 and $2K, depending on condition, and who wants them...

A pretty broad price range, I know - but it's one of those things that something is only worth what someone will pay for it... Here's mine - it came with the original case, too:
