1981 Ibanez Musician, Denver CO

my MC924 was taken from my car sometime between 06/10/2011 and 06/12/2011. it was in a brown, rectangular hardshell case that also contained a strap, three cables, and a one-spot plug.

i have pictures online on facebook and on photobucket. unfortunately i didn't write the serial number down anywhere, but there are many distinguishing characteristics.

the headstock was painted black, over the ibanez logo. it is chipped in spots, you can see a little bit of the "z" in the logo. i put a monkey sticker on it, though that may have been removed. there are holes for a thumbrest. the control plate is missing a couple screws. the finish is faded on the left horn, where the strap button is. there are several dings on the body, as shown in the pictures.

i've talked with a detective about it, they put a police hold on the bass, got the name of the guy that sold it to the pawn shop, and verified that i did not know the person. there's still a bit they have to go through, and they told me there's a chance i'll have to make an appearance in court.

so i still don't have it back just yet, but it looks like i will in the next week or so.
