SOLD
I have a very , very clean 1986 alembic persuader fretless bass for sale. Completely factory stock with no wear at all. There are a couple of tiny marks on the back of the body, but you have to look very close to see them. The neck is flawless, ebony board is as new, basically a closet queen.
The neck is 3 piece maple, with the ebony board, mahogany body with a curly maple top. All electronics work as they should and all pots are noise free.
Neck scale is 32" with 24 frets, one of the most comfortable necks I have tried, effortless to play, and also has a very nice dual truss rod system. I have neck set almost straight with .007 " relief at the 7th fret position.
I purchased a brand new hard shell jazz bass case ($110) just for shipping purposes.
The price is $1500 US which will included shipping to the lower 48 states ( budgeted $180 for shipping / insurance) This is a firm shipped price, won't go any lower, but.....
Also have it posted locally here near vancouver. I would accept $1200 US ($1350 can. $$)
for local pickup and no hard shell case, just a generic gigbag
thanks
as far as a trade goes, only a warwick thumb, 4 string, neck thru is ideal, a bolt on possible if a trade can be worked out
