The late 90s/early 2000s American Deluxe line is probably the best active line of basses Fender ever made, IMHO.

If I didn't already have an N series PBj, I'd be on this in a heart beat. The N series was an excellent era for Fender musical instruments. I also have a N series strat that is also a really good instrument. Best wishes and a quick sale.

If I ever buy another Fender, it would be from this era. These were made so well during this period.

Yes! I have a 98 J deluxe fretless. Has same tuning machines as this one… sooo smooth. Bass is killer. I bet this is too. Suhr for the win!
