1999 Carruthers CB5 what strings?

Need help with strings for a Carruthers 5 string bass.
It has a EMG Pickups, 34.5" scale length, Maple Top, Ash Body and Rosewood Fretboard.

Can you guys point me in the right direction (best strings) for pick player, modern rock (evanescence, nickelback), standard tuning, 34" scale length?

Bump I am attaching a pic of the strings that came with the bass...does anyone know the brand with the yellow bands (see pic)

Also can someone recommend guage and flatwounds for me?
