I'm reading it needs an extra rack space for cooling,
may as well have a two-space....
unless the first two reviewers don't know what they're talking about.
Some roto-molded polyethylene racks have airspace above the top shelf. Put the amp at the top, so it doesn't heat up the other things. And take the back off while using it to allow air to flow out. It's not ideal, but then only 2ru amps are better as they have plenty of space for cooling and can handle bigger fans.
