I will put this on my calendar. I can bring my amp/rig. I remember there being 3-4 times as many basses as amps/rigs, so maybe I could help in some small way to equalize that???? Hmmm.....

OK - here's an idea that Philbiker and I've been discussing in response to folks wanting to play a little and also just to try something a little different!

Would anyone be up for a GTG in the evening on the 22nd?

The reason: we're able to get the use of a soundstage in Ashburn, with full PA and backline - and likely session drummer and probably a guitarist, although I'm happy to bring guitars for folks to play. There are also keys available. The facility also has room (outside of the stage) for folks to mill around and do the normal GTG trying out of basses, chat, etc.

We'd be able to get this location from 6pm onwards.

Also, and I'm not saying that this will be needed, but would folks be willing to defer the cost a little - maybe $10-$15 per person including pizza!

Just our thought......please come back with your thoughts asap!
