Only in the studio/sound stage, which has a no food and drink rule.

As I'll likely be doing the post GTG clean-up, everything within reason but not too much to get messy.

I'd like to make it again as I've enjoyed these in the past. However, I am not sure I can make it on the 22nd, especially in the evening. On Sundays, afternoons work much better for me.

Count me in. I'd love an opporunity to jam out with my bass bretheren. I could even step down and be a guitard or drummerd for a few tunes.

I wouldn't mind hosting it, but I like the idea of the sound stage. And I think Jive Sound would make for a better summer GTG spot since we can spill out into the parking lot.

Ok - that's us up to 10 'yes's so I'll go ahead an set the wheels in motion and post details about the directions, etc.

Hopefully well get a few more as I'm sure there will be a few folks who can't make it on the night.

I'm still trying to figure out what I've got going on that day. I have a gig that Friday (Champps) in Reston, so I know that my weekend's already going to be a bit hectic. I really hope I can make it out though... Thanks for taking the lead on this guys!

I have work early the next day and a school assignment due that evening (last class!!!). I'll have to play it by ear and see if I can get the assignment done before the last minute. That'll be a first.

The GTG will be held at Minton's Music in Ashburn starting at 6pm running through to 9pm. Directions at www.mintonsmusic.com It's close to the toll road/Rte 28 depending how you go.

Minton's has a fully equipped sound stage, but we'll need a couple of 3 or 4 folks to bring amps. I'll bring mine for starters.

Of course bring as many basses, etc. as you want to!

It should be fun. Final cost (including soda and pizza) will depend on numbers, but will be in the $20 range if we get 10 folks. Now all we need to work out is songs/etc.

I'll bring my amp. It's nothing much; a Fender Rumble 60 1x12 180W combo (i know my sig says Rumble 100 but i'm too lazy to correct it ). I'll also bring my camcorder so everyone can see us.., for better or worse .

And my vote for a song is anything that grooves!
