Will there be a guitar rig and drums? How about PA?
If needed, I could bring either, but I'd rather leave the drums at home because I am lazy.

The kit is a 'nice' 5 piece maple kit + cymbals. For guitars there are two Marshall 100w half stacks (solid-state heads). There is also a 150w Peavey keyboard amp and a Beringer 300w bass-amp. There is a PA that I was planning on having set-up with three mics. I'll bring a guitar along with some basses. We can use the studios keys if we have any budding John Lords/etc.
I can play a little keys and sing. We should learn a song to jam on. I'll play keys and/or sing if it's not too hard. Any ideas? NOT big bottom.
A week to go! Right now we've got 11 confirmed and 8 possibles.
Phil, if your going to be singer-elect then why don't you suggest a couple of tunes?
Can't go wrong with good ol' 12 bar blues. Anybody know/willing to play the Chuck Berry guitar part for "Roll Over Beethoven"? How about "The One I Love" by REM - I sing that in my current band. Don't know the guitar part. And "Rockin' In The Free World" by Neil Young - I can sing that song too. I'll try to think of one or two more.
My Generation? Anybody know the bass solos?
Just checked my combo today and apparently i was terribly mistaken in saying it's output is 180W. It's actually only 60W
. It gets plenty loud though.Oh and another tune we could play would be cantaloupe island. Chill little jam that we can all have some fun messing around over.
ANybody know the guitar riff for ZZ Top's "Touch"? I can sing it, and it could include LONG drawn out bass solos by anyone who is interested.
Done that one a whole bunch of times, but without the bass solo cause I was singing. Gotta be well lubed to get that high. Can't make it though, so don't mind me. (Wish I could.)
I am experiencing lower back pain so I probably won't be able to bring my rig this time I am sorry to report. Unless someone wants to stop by my house and help me carry it.

Well, I'm 17 and I'm going so I say 16 is fine, lol. Beer is for old people anyway i.e. anyone over 18 XD. I'll see if I can bring some soda's and stuff. Gotta make sure I bring my camcorder too.
If you can be responsible enough to *not* drink any alcohol, I see no reason why you cannot join us. I am not hosting this, but I see no issue with it at all.
