Will there be a guitar rig and drums? How about PA?

If needed, I could bring either, but I'd rather leave the drums at home because I am lazy.

The kit is a 'nice' 5 piece maple kit + cymbals. For guitars there are two Marshall 100w half stacks (solid-state heads). There is also a 150w Peavey keyboard amp and a Beringer 300w bass-amp. There is a PA that I was planning on having set-up with three mics. I'll bring a guitar along with some basses. We can use the studios keys if we have any budding John Lords/etc.

Phil, if your going to be singer-elect then why don't you suggest a couple of tunes?
Can't go wrong with good ol' 12 bar blues. Anybody know/willing to play the Chuck Berry guitar part for "Roll Over Beethoven"? How about "The One I Love" by REM - I sing that in my current band. Don't know the guitar part. And "Rockin' In The Free World" by Neil Young - I can sing that song too. I'll try to think of one or two more.

My Generation? Anybody know the bass solos?

umm, ever heard of 'improvisation'.

how about the beatles? "I want you"

Right now I've got the following bringing rigs/amps/etc.!

Thunderitter - rig
philbiker - rig
wilser - rig
jkdahlman - rig
kwesi - bringing Fender 180W

A couple of Korg Pandora's would be great too - I'll bring mine and chris.gotfunk bring yours too!

Just checked my combo today and apparently i was terribly mistaken in saying it's output is 180W. It's actually only 60W :(. It gets plenty loud though.

Oh and another tune we could play would be cantaloupe island. Chill little jam that we can all have some fun messing around over.

Here's the list as it stands today for attendees. My count is an even 10, which including studio/pa/equipment hire, pizza and soda will come in between $18 and $20 a head.

I'll bring a couple of my guitars as well as some basses. Both the guitarists I was going to try and get along have other commitments, so if any one else wants to bring a friend who would be up for some strumming then please feel free to.
