Hey, you won't be crashing the party - everyone is welcome! The more the merrier! :bassist:

Go to http://www.mintonsmusic.com for directions to the GTG. Things kick off out in Ashburn at 6pm and we've got the studio booked until 9pm.

Currently we've got 11 confirmed attendees and a few possibles.

All we need to do now is order the pizzas! ;)

OK I'm not bringing my big rig, but I am going to bring my practice amp. It's a late 90s pre-Gibson Trace Elliot Boxer 30. It's a fantastic little amp that is actually usable with great tone for small gigs like a coffee shop or something. May be interesting for some people to see that there are small amps that can sound really good. I'm still trying to decide which of my basses to bring. See you all there!

I loved rockin' that wishbass. Good times!

Thanks to everyone who showed up. I learned that I have a lot more practicing to do...some great talents we have in NoVa and beyond.

Can't wait until we do it again. Hope to see some of you guys at a future Dr. FU show. Come up and say hi...

Another smashing success! Thanks to all who showed. I'd say the most amazing pieces were John's Leduc (O.... M.... G........), Rob's gorgeous Dingwall, and surprisingly, Dave's Wishbasses (seriously... ask Philbiker about 'em). Special thanks to Dave for doing a great job coordinating everything and to Milton Music for hosting.

+1 on the Leduc. It was probably the best bass I've ever played and I'm not exaggerating at all.

It was really nice meeting everyone and jamming and all! Hopefully, I represented the under 18 crowd well enough :p. This was my first GTG and it was absolutely worth begging my parents to let me go. Now I want to get to the international one in NYC... we'll see how that works out, lol :rolleyes:. I'll upload the few pics I took tomorrow becasue I'm feeling pretty lazy.
