2 amps together

Hey guys/girls.
Been a bassist since 2003 but stopped playing in 2015 due to kids on the way, started playing again and need a few tips. When I was playing before I had a good rig but sold everything. I’m in a bit of a mix and need some help.

I’ve brought a little 25W Redwood bass amp and on the front there’s a high and low input and headphone input. On the back there’s line output and effects send and return inputs. I’ve seen a nice little 60W cherry stone bass amp online which has a input and headphone input on the front and on the back there’s inputs saying return and send on it.

Would I be about to Jack these to amps together?

Yes, you can, but I guessing there won't be any sort of improvement of tone OR volume. Can't really see the point. Even tied together, it won't be a performing ready amp, and why do you need a louder bedroom amp?

It’s the whole getting back into the groove and feel that I had now my kids are grown I spose I’m trying to relive my youth in a cheaper way if I can find one.

Ok, but I would wait and get one good amp, instead of spending money to patchwork something together.

@Marty Wiles I second waiting and saving until you can buy a more capable amp. You already have one practice amp, so IMHO buying another will not be of great benefit.

Nothing you can buy new in the way of 60W of bass will be a fraction of the thrill a used Peavey 15'' combo will give.
