Double Bass 2 Channel Amp

I have an Acoustic Image Coda Series 4 Model 611AA Combo Amp.

It has 2 identical separate channels--both channels have 1/4" jack and mic 48v inputs--XLR.
I want plug in: Channel 1: a magnetic pickup / Channel 2: a condenser mic, to blend the magnetic and mic. Would that work OK?--never done that before. Anybody done that? Good results?

Yep, but only when I’ve had a really difficult room to play in. My go to is my Ischell XC48 contact mic, mounted above the bridge to avoid feedback. I don’t know why the company says to mount it below but that is my best sound. I also have a Upton Rev solo piezo that I’ve blended with the Ischell for maximum flexibility on the high and low ends. I use them thru my AI Coda combo too.
