2 pickup controls?

I voted "other," because to me the best would be two volume controls and a three way selector switch. This would allow independent volume adjustment and easy on-the-fly tone changes.

When it comes to a 2 pickup bass, which do you prefer?
Volume / Volume
or
Volume / Blend
or
Rotary switch

How 'bout Volume / Volume with a "Rick-O-Sound" configuration so I can eq each pickup separately through different channels of the amp and then control my "blend" by varying the volume of each on the bass...

No preferences, really.

On a passive 2 pickup bass, such as a Jazz, I prefer volume/volume.

On a modern bass, I prefer volume/blend.

I'm a vote for volume/volume. I like independent controls for each pickup. I feel like I have more control over my sound.

And while we're discussing controls, I can't stand mid range boost/cut, anyone else feel this way.

Since I use a passive setup with single coils, and since I always either have both full-on, or back off the neck pup slightly, I use a different setup:

Neck Volume/Master Volume

This gives me that "back off the neck a bit" tone, and the advantages of one volume control. I don't ever use the reverse (backing off bridge). If I want it fatter I'll use both full on, and use my hands.

Works for me, anyway...
