20 Spitfire Mk IIs found in Burma

Don't get too excited just yet - no-one knows for sure where they are - only a few general areas where they might be. With modern technology and full co-operation of the Burmese government there should be a good chance though.
I wonder who owns them legally, or if such a concept even exists in Burma. No doubt the local Junta would like to cash in.

IHC squadron appears not to exist.
Having heard single Merlins on occasion I'd have to agree. 20 of them would be something else altogther.

Many years ago I heard both a Spit & a Hurricane roaring around simultaneously. Another one, not too long ago, featured 7 B-25s(a twin: 14 LOUD radials chugging away). I like airplane noise. 
Very cool news! The first thing I thought of was that YouTube video of the Spitfire buzzing the reporter at a rather low level.

Beautiful plane, but - just my opinion - I'm against the NASCARification of this (or any other) WW2 plane. These planes help defeat the Axis, and good men died in them in winning WW2. Call me old-school, but it seems to me to be a bit disrespectful to have "Jelly Belly" all over it. Leave planes like this looking original.
