Up for Sale: 2003 American Fender Deluxe Precision Bass upgraded with a Sadowsky preamp (with VTC). This was my main bass for years and plays and sounds great. I need to sell to make way for some new gear so not looking for trades right now. This is the older model Deluxe with the fat humbucker in the bridge. With the Sadowsky Pre you can literally get just about every tone under the sun from this thing (has push pull active/passive mode and the VTC). The neck is a slimmer profile than a standard Precision and falls somewhere between a P and a J. It also has the smooth neck heel and extended 22 fret range. Bass comes with the original Fender hard shell case, strap, straplocks, allen wrenches, and the original Fender preamp as well (if you ever wanted to switch the Sadowsky out .. not that you would)! There is one decent size paint chip courtesy of American Airlines on the side of the bass by the input jack (see picture). Its not incredibly visible from the front of the bass though. Currently strung with an older set of flats, Ill drop a new set of Ernie Ball rounds in the case. Need to let this one go pretty quick, looking for $999 plus shipping from Nashville, TN. Heres a link for the Sadowsky pre (sells for $270 on Rogers site): http://www.sadowsky.com/store/sadowsky-onboard-bas-preamp.html Thanks, PM me with any questions!
