Details

I keep buying Stingray HH and now an HS, and I just have to admit to myself that I a single H Stingray guy. I just picked this up, and I do feel that the HS is more usable than HH. All pickups on is more balanced sounding to me, neck pickup is more usable solo, and you still get the inner coil setting that is my favorite (after the bridge pickup of course) on both the HS and HH.

These HS are harder and harder to find. Weighs an even 10lbs and is very good condition. Couple of tiny scratches on the back and neck (see pics), and another small scratch by the nut on the G string. All pretty minor and not very noticeable.

Rosewood board, alnico pickups.

Any questions ask away! Local SF Bay Area sale will get a discount.

I did some searching to see if I could find a color-by-year guide, but haven't found anything. At least not yet.

Wish I had a three band single H alnico to trade for it. But I bought a couple of basses in the last year or so and still have to sell the two basses I agreed to sell in order to buy them - nice basses but, unfortunately, neither is a single H alnico Stingray. :( LOL.
