This is Fender’s take on a MusicMan Stingray. The American Deluxe was the top of the line Dimension, which went from Squier models all the way up to this. Sadly, they were only produced for a few years, as Fender purists tend to resist change and sales never really took off. That makes this a pretty rare beast. I’ve only ever seen one being gigged in the wild at Margaritaville in Key West! This is also the VERY rare candy root beer finish. I’ve NEVER seen another one this color online or anywhere else! This bass is quality through and through…look up the specs…it is essentially the best of everything Fender had when it was made in 2014. The best part…even though it is 10 years old, this thing is absolutely MINT! I purchased it because of its rarity. It has been a case queen, only occasionally coming out at home when I was in the mood for something different.
